Entered into rest after a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of Audrey for 55 years.  Loving father of George (Frauke), Ray (Brenda), Leona (Doug Elmore), Robert (Julie), Julia (Rob Gheller), and Ben (Maureen).  Opa will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Gwendolyn, Ben, Leah (Richard Winkel), Adriana (Craig Kootstra), Nathan (Dorien), Tamyra, Bailey, Sahara, Reece, Robert (Caitlyn), Lindsay, Nicholas, Braun, Daniel, Shannon and great-grandchildren James, Matthew, and Milo.  Will be sadly missed by several brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his two brothers.  A special thank you to those who cared for Jack during his brief illness.
