Hastings, Ellen M. G. (nee Holm)

April 2, 1937 - March 5, 2010

With heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved

mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Passed away

surrounded by her loved ones at the Trillium Health Care Centre in her 73rd year.

Predeceased by her husband David. Loving mother of Susanne (Michael) and

Mark (Amy). Cherished Mormor, Farmor (grandmother) to Christy (Richard),

James (Katie), Leanne (Jeff), Kendelle (Alex), LB, Brandon, Abigayle and Erik.

Beloved Oldemor (great-grandmother) to Mitchell, Hayden, Cassie, Emmet.

Also remembered by her step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Adored by her

brother Rudy and his wife Bette and their family. Ellen will be sadly missed by many

nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff,

2nd Floor, I.C.U. at the Trillium Health Care Centre for their extraordinary care

and loving support. Visitation will be held at the Brampton Memorial Chapel &

Visitation Centre, 10061 Chinguacousy Road, (905-460-9155)

Brampton on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m.

The family invites friends and relatives to gather for

a Celebration of Life Service in the Brampton Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday March

11, 2010.

Interment to follow at Brampton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations

to the Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH), Ontario Heart &

Stroke Foundation or to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the

family.
