BESSETTE, MARCEL

At the Belleville General Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2010 at age 86. Formerly of Dorval, Brockville and recently of Belleville.

Beloved husband of the late Helena Bessette. Loving father of Marc Bessette (Cathy) of Vernon, BC; Patricia Bouchard (Wayne) of Sherwood Park, AB; and Mike Bessette (Mary Lou) of Corbyville. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kherstin, Dorian, Brandon, Christian, Devin, Travis, Erin, Amy and his 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Bernard Bessette, Yves Bessette, Claude Bessette and Lise Bessette.

Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Marcel's passing. He was a very kind man who I remember enjoyed spending time outside with his cat and helping my parents with their garden. We also crossed paths regularly at the YMCA. He was always friendly and often talked about his family. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.
