Emma Fontaine

FONTAINE, Emma (nee Grenoulx) Feb. 15, 1929-March 7, 2010 With sadness, our family announces the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother, Emma. Cherished wife and best friend of 63 years to Bernardin (Ben). Loving mother to Dianne Fontaine, Mike and wife Anne Fontaine and predeceased by 3 sons. Dear grandmother to Danielle and Lacey Fontaine, Bill Fontaine, Laura and Nathan Hammett. Beloved great grandmother to Elliott, Andrew, Noah and Tate. Dear sister to the late Leo-Paul, Lawrence and Alice. Emma was a parishioner of St. Anne Church, Tecumseh. She enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, and when able, making the best strawberry jam, tortiere and Buche de Noel "ever" for her family. She will be missed by many friends at her Kensington Court residence. A special thank you to Anna and George of Kensington Court for their assistance with our family. Thank you to Heather in the ICU Unit at Hotel Dieu for her compassionate care of our family during this difficult time. Visitation at the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (519-253-5225) on Wednesday, March 10th from 2-4 & 7-9:00 p.m. Note: Friends and family are requested to meet at St. Anne's Church, Tecumseh on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 after 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
