Comment: I am so sorry to learn that my Ham buddy and friend for so many years ia no longer with us. I still remember yelling at him for making an appointment for us to be tested for our Advanced Ham ticket without letting me know in advance. Anyway, we both made it and spent many years thereafter on the air. I have many fond memories of  doing things together, such as the Hamfest if 1964 in Charlottetown. What an adventure that was. I extend my sympathy to all family members and pray thay God will be with you , giving you strength and courage during these rough days. My thoughts and prayers are with you, even though I am unable to be present with you.

Title: Condolences from Florence

Comment:

Dear Ruth & Family,

There are no words to express how sorry I was to hear of Frank's passing. It immediately brought back a flood of memories of our Sunday visits to Mill Cove.  We were so young then and we didn't have a lot,  but you and Frank  were wonderful and welcoming to all of us....making us feel so much at home with lots of good food, laughter, and song!!  It was more than just hospitality....you taught us, and showed us by your example, the importance of family and friends in our lives. I will always treasure those memories and the connection we have kept over the years. I will think of Frank often but most especially through the fun and songs we shared back then. I know you will all find comfort and solace in the love you shared with Frank and  that you continue to share with one another. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult days.

With love and sympathy,

Florence

Title: Condolences from Marg & Thelma

Comment: Ruth & family. Today, we share in the loss of your beloved Frank. We both have so many fond memories that will remain in our hearts forever! Ruth, when you both joined us in celebrating Thelma's 65th birthday and Thelma asked Frank if he would sing "DANNY BOY". He looked up at her and said"Oh! Thelma I haven't sang in so long,I don't believe I can. When he saw the disappointed  look in her eyes he said " OK, for you I'll try". He sang it beautifully! We will certainly always remember his  smiling greeting of Hi Marg & Hi Thelma whenever he would see us. These were his last words to us,with the same tone of voice and beautiful smile when we visited him in hospital only a few weeks ago. And yes, he will be still wondering why those girls are out driving on a stormy winter night, only, instead of looking out into the parking lot, he will be watching from above! REST IN PEACE FRANK! WE
LOVE YOU!

Love &  Friendship to all of you!

Marg & Thelma

Dear Betty and Harlie.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Frank. I had only met your dad a few times although one of those times I was rather "in my cups" at the annual horseshoe tournament.....I was quite amazed that we shared a mutual history with our fathers during training during WW2. I am thinking of you and your family during these trying times....I tried to call your residence but had difficulity finding your number....take care....

Title: 73 Frank

Comment: I worked with Frank at Mill Cove in the Mid 80's...Frank helped me get my Ham Radio certificate...he was always a great guy to chat with and I always enjoyed speaking to him either on-the-air or in person at work or at his home.  Last time I saw Frank was at the annual Halifax Amateur Radio Flee Market a few years back...he looked as good as ever... a Saint of a Man who never forgot a persons name and always had time for a friendly chat.
